Why when puttin tea tree oil on your face to help scars you hav to mix it with olive oil before puttin it on?

  1. You DO NOT have to put tea tree oil in olive oil to apply to your skin, you can apply it directly to the acne scarring area. Olive oil is a carrier oil that you mix essential oils (lavender, peppermint etc) in for medicinal purposes. Olive oil has it’s own healing properties, for your skin it could act as a moisturizer, but you don’t need it in your situation.
