Essential oils are volatile oils steam distilled from plants - flowers, roots, leaves, grasses, etc. Citrus essential oils are mostly cold-pressed from the rinds. There are other oils, CO2’s and Absolutes, that are chemically extracted from plants, usually when the oils can’t be steam distilled. Those are not technically essential oils, but are often grouped in.
Essence is.. blurry. Flower essences, like Bach’s flower remedies, are either water or alcohol (I’ve seen it described both ways) extracted plant "stuff". More along the lines of a tea or a tincture. Essence could also refer to a fragrance oil, or maybe a part synthetic and part natural oil. "Essence" isn’t really defined in one certain way.

essence is a fundamental value to co exist with your needs
