It won't say medical grade on the label. It is called either Aromatherapy or Essential oil and get it from a health food store. You want the pure oil not scent or hydrolized or freshener or such. Give the dog a bath in it. 10 drops in a tub of water.it is not toxic. You cannot apply it from the bottle to dog because it evaporates fast and absorbs instantly. when you put some drops on your hand to rub the dog it will already be absorbed into your skin, and yes it is a good repellent.
