Pure essential oils are a natural product and contain no preservatives or additives. A few of them can also be quite dangerous if not handled correctly. Some basic procedures should therefore be observed in order to ensure safety but also the quality of the oils in storage.
Fragrance oils are blends of aroma components that are created to smell like the real thing. There is no need to combine with other scents to get truly rewarding results. Many fragrance oils are blended from essential oils, but because they are not guaranteed to be 100% essential oil they are called fragrance oils. All of our fragrance oils are cosmetic grade.

Essential oils are all natural (pure if you will) and usually more concentrated than frangrance oils, which are man made. Essential oils reputedly have healing/restorative properties whereas fragrance oils don't. Essential oils are tipically more expensive than frangrance oils. As far as which will keep the house smelling fresh longer depends on factors like concentration, dispensing methods, ventilation, etc.
