  1. Evening Primrose Oil is best taken internally as it works to sooth the large, smooth muscle that is the uterus. Take 1000 mg. three times daily.

The best Essential Oil for Menstrual Cramps is Clary Sage combined with Lavender. Clary Sage is strong smelling, so you want to use just a couple of drops with about 6 drops of Lavender. Mix into a carrier oil such as Castor Oil (this is the best oil for this use). Massage in a V-shape, starting from in front and beneath your hipbone, going up and over your hipbone, and down the back of your hipbone towards your tailbone. Do this on the other side, also. Basically, you are massaging the oil where your pantie line goes. Do this three times a day, along with the Evening Primrose Oil. When you no longer experience symptoms, you can slow down on the usage of both the EO and the EPO by half.
