  1. It’s exciting that you’re getting into e.o. distillation, but it won’t save you money. You need a distiller, which will not be cheap (even a tabletop still is over $100), and you will need large amounts of fresh botanicals to produce small amounts of essential oils.

    I can’t imagine what the 5 steps would be.. are you talking about five steps in using a still (there are more than 5)? If you are, check out this website:

    They sell tabletop stills, but that page that I linked to is just some really great information on how to use a home distiller.

  2. I am not really sure about 5 steps, but one thing that you can look up is steam distillation. This is the process that is used in the extraction and isolation of essential oils from the plants that produce them. Hope this helps.
