Don’t use anything on your cat before clearing it with a vet first. Lots of human safe things are not cat safe also.
Is it possible your house has fleas? That can happen and once the fleas are in the furniture and carpets, you need to treat the house and not just the cats. Talk to your vet about managing the flea problem with the cats and the house. There are products you can get for the furniture and carpets….yes, they are nasty chemicals but if you have an infestation, it’s the best way to get rid of them. It’ll only get worse as the summer goes on so consider getting everyone (you, family, pets) out of the house and a good flea cleansing (flea bombing, washing everything down after) it if you see fleas jumping in your home.
