I have my belly button piercing now since 2 years, in the beginning 4 month i had problems, wear loose cloth to and low cut pants. so there is no presure on it. or shirts which show the piercing.
Now I never used oil of any kind on an infection, the piercer told me to use alcohol, take a drop from the top and move the ring up and down, after some weeks I took it out and put alcohol on the piercing itself and stuck it right back in. Now there is absolout no problem at all. Also soaking your body in a bath with sea salt, thats good. helps anyway the whole skin.
Good luck, I know it’s a little painfull.

From what I’ve heard, tea tree oil isn’t something you should use. Try a sea salt soaking, which cures almost EVERYTHING and anything.
I’ve never needed it, even though my piercing is three weeks old, but hey. You should try it.
I hope that works.

Put some of the oil on a cotton ball and then put the cotton ball on your piercing.

Vitamins E works as well as Tea Tree oil, put some on your finger and rub it onto the scar.

It’s not fully healed yet so don’t use it. In fact don’t use tea tree on a piercing.
Leave it alone, it’ll usually go away.
If it starts growing around the jewelery then it’s a keloid.
