I have been very successful with tea tree oil and my pimples. I do not use it as an astringent over my whole face. Instead, I use it as a spot treatment, full strength. I find if I pop a pimple (I know that’s bad, but I can’t help it, it’s so satisfying!) then put a drop of tea tree oil on it, the redness and swelling is almost totally gone the next day. I also use it on split cuticles and on my ear piercings.

Speak with a dermatologist. It’s an oil, not unlike a turpentine or such, when all is said and done. It’s workable on corns and things like that (as are other agents). Why not look at Salycilyic acid or something to that effect, or higher amounts of salicylic and benzoyl peroxide?

I use tea trea oil at night. Use it after you wash your face. It’s supposed to be good. It doesn’t dry the skin (it’s OIL). I heard that it does help with pimples and stuff. It’s good for people with dry skin…gives a nice glow to the face.

Tea Tree oil yes, can dry out your skin. It depends on what products you are using and the percentage of tea tree oil in them.
Usually for a clear face you should wash your face everyday and exfoliate twice to three times a week.
The Body Shop has the best tea tree oil products I have found. As a Makeup Artist I definitely think you should try it out, it really helps skin.
If you have oily skin then use all the tea tree products, if you have combination skin try the tea tree facewash and exfoliator. Then use the seaweed moisturizer, it won’t add oil to your face but will moisturize so you don’t dry out.

i know that tea tree is good for getting rid of pimple but i dont know bout the oil part of it because if used to much it ould make your skin greasy but if you use a range of products hat include tea tree in them already then that would proberly work better. Or you could put a few drops into your moistuiser but not to much. Although if you making sure you cleanse, tone an moisturiser your skin every morning and night hat should also lear your skin.
Hope that helped!

i work in a chemist and have recently been doing a course on all the sorts of things they sell.
tea tree oil is a natural ingrediant which helps clear up spots. it drys up the spot to help get rid of it as well as cleansing your skin with its antiseptic properties.
however i would not recomend putting to much tea tree on at once because it can dry out the skin and strip it of its natural minerals and essential oils.
i would suggest using distiled witch hazel because as well as cleansing the skin thoughrly it soothes and redness and bleeding to reduce the apearence on the spot.
this can be used all over the face and does not need to be aplied soley to the spot like tea tree.
nat.

Tea tree oil kills the good stuff and the bad stuff so it takes A LOT longer to heal. I suggest you find a pimple somewhere on your body other than your face and try it out, see how you react to it.
Whatever you do don’t put it all over your face, just try "spot" treating it.

It does nothing for acne, but it does help get rid of a lot of tea trees. Go Green!!!

Be very careful. In some individuals, it may cause more of a breakout rash than it helps to cure (allergic).
Some people find that they get a rash the first time they use it and then with continued use, it gets better.
Some people, it works perfectly fine from the first application.
The best way to test if it will work for you is to spot test on the jawline, or even on a heavily "pored" area, like a spot on the cheek, forehead, or nose.
