Has anyone ever used or heard of using vinegar and fragrance oil in the washing machine as fabric softener? ?

  1. Yes–This is what I use for fabric softener. It works wonderfully well. The vinegar removes any residue left over from the detergent, plus it deodorizes and kills germs. The vinegar smell dissipates as it dries. Plus adding the essential oils leaves clothes with a fresh scent of your choice.
