This might not be the best of the best, but "The Complete Book of Essential Oils & Aromatherapy" by Valerie Ann Worwood is great. It gives you uses, recipes, and all kinds of great info. I use it as a constant reference guide.

My absolute favorite is Aromatherapy, as A-Z by Patricia Davis. I have also really enjoyed this course at http://www.aromatherapyonlinecourse.com
