lavender is a good all around mood lifter but some people don’t like it or react badly to it. See how it goes! Using something with real essential oil is important, vs something synthetic!
Neroli (orange blossom) really helps me beat the blues. I apply it in jojoba oil to my face.
Lavender is great for bed and to sooth muscle aches.
Geranium helps me when i feel stressed
Orange and citrus is always upflifting. Lemon, MayChang. Pettigrain is really nice.

Lavender is well known for its calming and relaxing properties. This is the reason it’s a common scent in baby bed-time and bath-time products. It’s also used in nursing homes (e.g. in dementia wings) to soothe people and help maintain a calming atmosphere.

I, too, am partial to lavendar aromatherapy. Also white sage, and vanilla are mood boosters for me. Aroma therapy is great.
