Neither essential or fragrance oils have any magical healing properties, but a long soak in an hot tub with perfumed water is bound to make you more relaxed, less stressed.

The guy above you awaits your sending him the published randomized control trials showing definitive proof that essential oils do anything. I will wait a long time because they don’t exist.

the guy above me’s wrong…essential oils have numerous healing properties and have been used for thousands of years. But hes right about fragrance oils doing nothing. I wouldn’t put them in your bath at all, you may get an allergic reaction, skin rash, itchiness etc.. they are used just for that ‘fragrance’ nothing else, and most are synthetic anyways and will just do much more harm than good
no they will irritate the skin it’s the same as putting air freshner in your bath or floor cleaner they are meant to be used to give out a room fragrance not as skin fragrance.
