Orange oil contains high levels of d-limonene, and is used as to strip oil and grease. It is also highly irritating to skin when applied undiluted. Tea tree oil itself can cause a tingling sensation, and when you combine the two, it could be extremely irritating, and in fact, the orange oil may cause your skin to flake as it heals, because it can cause a chemical burn.
In the future, always dilute orange oil, and only use tea tree oil as a spot treatment undiluted. Most essential oils are very effective in the 5-15% dilution range. Anything stronger, unless specifically recommended for your needs, may cause undesirable results.

A common ratio of essential oil in a carrier oil is 0.5–3% (most under 10%), depending on its purpose.
For tea tree oil you can add 5-10 drops of tea tree oil to 2 tbsp of a carrier oil.
