Aromatherapy is great for helping with stress and settling stomach issues. Lavender is one of the best scents around because many hospitals use it to help cancer patients stop vomiting. Peppermint is another great scent to use.
When purchasing aromatherapy products becareful, look for the ones that say 100% all natural. You do not want a wrap that is so strong that the scent alone will make you sick.
I have been working with aromatherapy since 1999 because I deal with chronic pain and I swear by aroma therapy wraps. I went so far as to create a line which I sell at http://www.aromawraps.com.
My husband and I did lots of research on different combinations of grains so we could give you long lasting moiste heat with a great scent. I only use real lavender flower buds and not oils. Oil changes in the microwave and can actually make you sick. So when purchasing a wrap make sure it does not have oil placed in it.

You can have the first exhilarting experience of aromatherapy by attending your local spa and ask for that treatment. It’s the bomb. Or you can buy those aromatherapy air fresheners that has those plug-ins. I actually have an aromatherapy diffuser which uses just tiny drops of the oils and it just spreads across the whole room in a jiffy. My advice is when you start using aromatherapy, use it ONCE IN A WHILE (I use mine just once a week), or else if you use it everyday, the effect it has on you will eventually wear off .

Go to your local health food store. There will be a selection of oils. To keep it simple, I recommend Lavender for stress management. They may also have a blend there specifically for stress. Either is OK. I have found a couple of drops in the crook of my arm several times a day reduces my stress levels dramatically. For your situation, high stress, it’s best to apply it directly every day for several days until you begin to feel calmer.
