		<description>You can chop up a larger scented candle and add a few pieces to the melted wax.

You can use orange peel, coffee beans, pot pourri, spices like star anise, etc., BUT they have to be at least 2&#34; from the burning wick, otherwise they will catch fire.  I have made these types of candles by first making the smaller centre candle, then when it is formed, placing it in the centre of a larger mold and pouring the additional candle wax with the additives around the outside of the original candle.
