Anyone tried Neem oil or other essential oils for fleas on dogs?

  1. I have used a Neem Oil spray and wash made by Ark Naturals for years on my dogs and never had fleas. Of course there other essential oils in both but they work and are safe. But they are a repellent,

  2. No, it won’t make them stop laying eggs. It might repel them but not as well as a flea preventative like Frontline will.

    If you do wish to try a home remedy make sure that you always dilute essential oils before applying them to the skin. At full strength they can be very toxic to dogs.
